Michael Eden [MRICS MCIArb] is Commercial Director and Executive Consultant at Jemcoe Consulting, responsible for operations across Asia Pacific. As Executive Consultant, Michael provides professional and reliable integrated claims & dispute management advisory services and broader commercial and contractual services to both public and private sector clients.
Michael is a highly regarded and proven consultant, having worked on a vast array of projects, disputes and expert reports during his career.
From 2007-2015, Michael worked as Head of Commercial for both Laing O'Rourke and CPB [formerly Leighton Contractors] responsible for management of the commercial function and business P&L accountability across Australia (NSW / ACT) and New Zealand with revenue up to $1bn pa across sectors including civil engineering, infrastructure, roads, rail, mining, defence and building.
While at CPB, Michael was also appointed into the strategic role as Manager of Claims and Contract Services at CPB accountable for management and resolution of large scale claims and disputes across the Australian region.
Prior to joining CPB in 2007, Michael was General Manager of Quantum International Consulting based in Sydney with responsibility for Asia Pacific operations including providing claims and dispute resolution advisory services across the region.
Michael has been appointed to numerous Company and JV Boards and acted as Convenor of the Australian Contractors Association.
